Egg Sitting!!

My friend's Amel pair (one red albino, one flourescent) have finally produced!

Female laid 16 eggs the other night--I'm egg-sitting them until they hatch. I get 2 of the hatchlings! They look fertile and good, woo hoo!

i got a question?
how long till the eggs hatch, i mean from the day of the eggs been laid, how long does it take till the eggs hatch???:D

It takes approximately 60 days for the eggs to hatch. This does vary some based on incubation temps.

Yes, they do hatch quicker at higher temps, but personally I think it is best to keep them around 80-82 degrees. They take a little longer, but typically hatch out bigger and stronger.
