Eggs not denting in? Other ?'s

LindsayMarie

Been here awhile
I just had a pippy! I posted a thread in the photo gallery. My question is, non of the eggs are dented or denting in? The substrate is pulled off the top of them but not the sides, has been for a week or more (so I can see them). I worry about the couple eggs at the bottom that I cant see at all, they are buried. Anyways, I was wondering, maybe the eggs are too dry and/or the substrate? Should I mist the sphagnum on all 4 sides? Leave it alone? I couldnt put the top on completely as the pippy is the one practically touching the top, so I just rested the top on the top of the container, which will probably make it even dryer in their!! I am wondering if I should take the top off, he is so close!!??? Ahhhh, what to do? Thank you for ANY help, Lindsay

I'd personally leave it alone, it all sounds fine to me. Also your other question about blood... nothing to worry about there either.
Just sit back, relax & enjoy all those little noses appearing.......:)

I will relax when all 16 are hatched out and healthy! :)

Good luck with that. Don't count on everything hatching out and don't count on them all being 'healthy' or you're going to be very disappointed. Plan on losing a few.

But have fun gettin' em all to eat!
