Hey guys?
Well a lot has happened to my 2 corns over the past week. They were transported to my fam home 1.5 hours away. Then set up in a much colder house for a week, then while I was there, upgraded their vivariums...
The 2 year ghost was moved into a much larger viv (lots of hides). As well, I used aspen in his new viv, he was used to forest bark...He has been burrowed now for a long time, he used to come out frequently and explore, now he has a bigger place and he never comes out. Does he need a few weeks to get adjusted? I have 2-3 inches deep for the aspen.
Thanks,
Dustin

I would think they need time to adjust, being moved and in a larger home with aspen. But why is it colder?? Don't you have a heat source for the Viv's?

Maybe he just loves the aspen!

That would be my guess. My guy did the same thing when he was finally introduced to Aspen... although now that I got him a huge hollow log, he tends to burrow less. I think I've left him enough room to burrow if he wants... but he spends most of the time tucked in there.

Yes. When you move him to a different tank, it is just like when you bring him home for the first time. Give him some time to get used to his new home, and he'll be out exploring just like before.
