My corn has been quite the escape artist this week...Im not sure why either
we hadnt had any issues with her until like mid last week... Normal to randomly become an escape artist?!

Randomly is a good word. Your snake has plenty of time to randomly try every little nook and cranny of her viv. If there is a weak point or any way possible to get out she'll probably find it.
Different snakes have different behaviors. I'm sure there are corn snakes that are "content" to stay in their viv where they have everything they need. I never gave my snake that chance so I don't know, her viv was made secure (really secure!) before she was installed. You then only have to make sure you don't forget to close something properly. Fingers crossed, so far I haven't forgotten.
What kind of enclosure do you keep her in? I'm sure someone here has used your type of enclosure and has hints for securing it.
