a very good friend of mine has just found that her baby lavinder corn has escaped i have sugested tape traps but does anyone else have any tips please that could help would be greatly apperciated

How large is the snake? Depending on the size, you can set up a bottle trap with a hot pinkie in it overnight. She can also set up a warm hide in the room it was lost. That's how I caught my little escae artist.

My snakes have gotten out 2x (different snakes), both times I was lucky enough to find them right away, but on the 2nd escape, he went from one bedroom into my bedroom, I found him under a pillow on the floor. I would look in anything that might be warmer in the house. I looked thru all of the laundry in that room, in the clothes basket first, thinking that would be a nice warm place to hide but instead he came in my room. It's so horrible when they get loose.

mine has escaped twice, the first time due to her squeezing through the tiniest of gaps in the glass, and the other due to carelessness, look in the most unusual of places, and also check all the obvious places 2/3 times, i looked twice in one spot and found her the 3rd time of looking because i heard a noise, you could use masking tape, as its not sticky enough to hurt your snake, but is sticky enough to hold it, you could also use plastic bags, once you hear a noise POUNCE! haha good luck with finding your escapee

Try then search function. You will find an overwhelming amount of tips and info at your fingertips.
