So wee little Copper has been missing for almost 3 weeks now... Got out of his viv the day after I brought him home.... Have tried everything from bottle traps to heating pads around the house..... crinkly bags and flour... nothing... I have four cats, so I have been checking thier poop to make sure he's not in there (sucks... but at least I would know)..They seemed really interested in my big arm chair, so I ripped it apart and pulled out all the stuffing and still no snake...I've torn apart my huge 3 level condo... my fear is he got into the vents and down into the furnace where there wold be no way out..... I don't want to give up hope, but he was so little...and although I've kept water out for him he must be getting thirsty and so hungry>>> I will take any advice offered... but I guess I just needed to vent...Thanks for listening.

I'm sorry. Mine was just lost for a little over 24 hours, and I also was so worried about the heat vents. I found him not too far from where he escaped, under my bed by the wall. He obviously had a fall to get to the floor, but he was acting just fine.

I hope you find your little guy!

Found him.... my Luna cat brought him right up into my lap last nite.... not sure if it was the cat or dehydration that eventually got him... :( ..... RIP COPPER All I can say is I've learned a thing or two about sneaky snake security...Damn bugger... I just set out bottle traps the day before... and had plenty of water out... It sucks!
