How long can an escaped two-month old cornsnake survive outside the vivarium, in a centrally heated house. Mine has been missing almost 24 hours....I've searched high and low

well corns can live for a month without food as long as they have water. i have read some stories where they have dissapeared for up to four months. i wouldnt be worried if your baby has only been missing for 24 hrs.why dont you check out kingsnake.com and go to the lost pet section. you will find out all kinds of places to look and all kinds of neat tricks that will help you find your lost loved one.

Always turn up somewhere. And yes, they can go even longer than a month without food most times. Just look high and low, everywhere especially at night.

FOUND!!!

Thanks for advice. It turned up almost 72 hours later, on wall in the porch. I think it had been hiding in space between ceiling and upstairs floor, where the heating pipes are. It seems fine, although a bit nervous, but it has fed again since.
