Ever had a snake go back into their shed?

I was watching my snake shed, and watched her go right back into it! She went into her hide and didn't cooperate when we tried to see if it would come off again.

Should we leave her to get it off on her own, or is it bad for her to sit in that?

I wish I had my camera. There was a tear in the back and she just slid back into it and kept going.

We managed to get it all off now though, so I guess it isn't an issue.

I've seen pictures of this before, I think posted by Carol. I also have had at least one of my snakes do it before a few years ago, and I did get pictures. :)

I had one do that one time. It was very strange. It was like she shed her skin, turned around and crawled back into it. I just picked her up and pulled it off again. I wasn't sure if she would be able to figure out how to wiggle backwards out of it.
