Everybody Sheds

Our Okeetee, Hickory, had her third shed last night, just 21 days after her second. She was kind enough to let the whole family watch and shed in one piece, in about 10 minutes. Our Sunglow, Slithers, shed earlier in the week and had a hard time of it, needing help with a washcloth. The difference I'm sure was due to humidity. Hickory is in a 16 qt. plastic tub with a solid top and Slithers is in a 20L viv with a screen top (mostly covered with plastic wrap). Humidity here is in the 15-25% range. Next time, Slithers will get a moist hide. Here is Hickory, immediately after her shed:

I love the picture of her on top of the thermometer thingy. (yes i'm one of "those" that call things "thingys") lol
