Hey all,

I have had my miami phase corn snake for about three weeks now (first snake), and hes (or shes) never had a problem feeding. Hes about two months old, and I feed him a pinkie about every 5 days. Usually when I start handling him again on the second or third day from feeding, he'll defecate. Then the same will happen on the third/fourth day. Both are usually normal looking based on previous threads (light brown to brown surrounded by fluid). Today I was handling him before feeding again, and he defecated a third time since his last feed (5 days prior). This time however, the feces was very light (pretty much a white in color) and surrounded by a lot more fluid than usual.

Just wondering if all still appears to be normal. He ate no problem today and is resting happily in his warm hide. Also, it looks like he might be going into blue soon. (His first shed with me)

Thanks!!

Doesn't sound like there's a problem. I've never really counted but I find my new acquisitions seem to have smaller, more frequent defectations for a while, whereas -for whatever reason, the babies that are born here tend to have one big one.

Same with my corn. I do not know her exact age, but I've had not quite 5 weeks, feed her a pinkie a week so far, wait a generous 48hours before handling - and she scats in my hands like clockwork. Oh well.
