Feeder Question?

I have a male Okee who is 388g and about 4ft long. He is 21 mths old. The feeders I have average about 24g and he is fed weekly. I will be buying new feeders next month and wondering if a should go up to the next size. I only have one snake.

You could switch to the extra large adult mice as your snake is definitely large enough to handle them. Just remember that his growth rate is going to slow down now and he will be prone to getting fat if fed too much. Watch his muscle tone and maybe skip a meal every so often (feed 3 out of 4 weeks) or go to every 10 days.

I wouldn't. I'd keep an eye on him and see how much weight he's gaining weekly, and maybe even think about switching him to every ten days. All my adult males are fed medium adult mice, ~22-25g, every ten or 14 or even 21 days, and all are still gaining weight. Obviously the ones fed every 21 days are very "easy keepers!!"
