Feeding Advice

My corn is 4 months old. (weight unknown at this time)
I'm currently feeding her 2 pinks once a week.
I feel like she is still hungry after 2 and her 'lump' is not significant anymore after 2 pinks. I'm wondering should i move her up in size or feed her more pinks at once? or feed her more 2 pinks twice a week instead?
Any advice would be fantastic =D

If you been feeding it two pinks for awhile and now it not show signs of a "lump" I would say it safe to move up. If you have extra pinks in storage, just us them up first so they don't go to waste.

Lumps are good. I like to go with a mouse size between about the snake's diameter at the thickest point and 1.5 times that. Sounds like you need to get some bigger food in there.

Beware that it's quite easy to "feel" like a Corn needs more food, when they actually don't. In the wild they can go for weeks between meals, so don't be taken in by behaviour that makes it look like the Corn is hungry - their instinct is always to be hunting unless they're digesting (or only interesting in mating!).

It's pretty unusual for a four month old Corn to be eating more than 2 pinks at a time. Even if the lump they leave is "not significant", they're still leaving a visible lump. In your place, I wouldn't increase food size/amount until there's no lump at all.

After feeding double pinks I usually do a peach fuzzy for a few feedings then go to regular fuzzies, but yours might be ok with going to fuzzies. However if you still have a lot of pinks and she is your only snake I would keep feeding double pinks for a while. I'd hate to see pinks get wasted. How often do you feed her?

I'm feeding her 2 pinkies every wednesday, i thought about maybe trying to feed her 2 pinks every 5 days though?

If there's no food lump visible 24 hours after feeding, it's time to move up to the next prey size. I generally go from double pinks to small fuzzies, as the weight isn't much of an increase.

As for switching to feeding every 5 days rather than weekly, I wouldn't do that. Unless you have a lot of pinks left that need to be "fed off," in which case you could try feeding 2.5-3 pinks on her usual schedule, it would be better to switch to the next size up. The nutrition content changes somewhat as the mice get older. In fact, you'll likely be surprised at the growth spurt your snake has when you switch over to fuzzies.

Yup, what Caryl said. :)

I have never done double pinks- just moved up to a small fuzzy. Pinks don't have a good calcium content.

If the prey you are considering is slightly bigger than the widest part of your snake, then it is a good size. That is my rule of thumb. Also, I know it is time to bump up when the snake downs the prey quickly without having to stretch their jaw too much. This doesn't apply to adults, obviously.

Don't worry about your snake starving, though. Snakes are good at looking hungry all of the time. ;-)
