feeding after laying?

Hi everyone.
I had a question how soon after the female lays her clutch should you try to feed her? This is my first clutch. The snakes belong to my boyfriend and his son. He is out of town so I have snake duty.
Priscilla started acting restless so I thought she was getting ready to lay. Monday night she laid one egg I prepared her a nesting box with damp sphagnum moss in a glad dish that i cut a hole in the top of. (Thanks to this site for the helpful information) she laid the remainder of the clutch (10 eggs) yesterday around 4pm. I removed the eggs after a few hours and put them into the incubator, inside another glad dish w/ damp moss under and on top of the eggs, i have punched a couple tiny holes in the lid. (Please help if I've done anything wrong)
I have tried to offer her a thawed fuzzy rolled in calcium but she isn't interested in leaving the lay box yet. Is this alright?
Thanks for any help you can offer me...

It can take them a little bit to recover, just let her rest. None of mine would eat after they laid eggs, until after their post lay shed, then they gladly took the food.

Some people put holes in the incubator container, some do not. It holds more humidity if you don't, but that's ok if you did.

Congrats on your new clutch!

A few tiny (or very small holes), in the egg container, is fine, and, as long as you wrung the water out of the moss, you should be "good to go". Just monitor them.

As far as feeding the female, after she lays her clutch, it is okay to offer her something a day or two afterward. Just offer something rather smaller than what she, typically, eats (for her first meal after laying). She may, or may not, eat but, if she does, it is okay... if she doesn't eat, that is fine, too, since some will not eat until later.
I offer the female a very small meal a day, or two, after (usually two days after) she lays her clutch... some eat, right then, and some do not until later.

Thanks for your help. Here is a pic of Pink Priscilla's clutch. I had only put pin size holes in the lid maybe 8. I also have a layer of moss ontop of the eggs.
