My cornsnake is readly excepting thawed and live pinkies. However the live ones she doesnt strike at she bites head starts swollowing and then waits for the pinkie to stop wiggling before continuing to swollow. When does it learn to strike and constrict?

I don't feed live but I'm guessing that the snake wont strike and constrict a live pinkie because there is no need to. Once the mice get a bit bigger and more able to defend themselves then maybe your snake will be a bit more ferocious! :p

I feed my snakes med/adult mice.
They are f/t mice and the ball python constricts them and attacks them nastly, lol and the other 2 corns dont constrict them and just bite them and eat them.

Thanks

Alex
