I'm so pleased! Inanna has always refused mice that weren't completely white. (I have no idea why, but she just wouldn't eat them.) Instead of getting mice this time, I got comparably sized rats, and she just downed a black one! This makes picking through to find her a white one a thing of the past. Just expressing my pleasure at my snake's behavior, I guess. She's such a good girl. :)
 
Excellent!! It's funny how much a lot of snakes like the rats. My amel is on small adult rats and he doesn't care what color they are as long as you give them to him NOW!! He doesn't appreciate slackers when he's hungry :)
 
I've never tried rats but I have to pick up a 300 count of mice next week so I might see if the guy has rat hoppers/weanlings for me.
