Feeding Crickets?

Hello all, I am brand new to your forum (which is horribly addictive, I should be studying right now) and I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's ok to feed the occasional cricket to a corn. I have access to them at work and wondering if it might make a good little treat for my 2 month old. I have not been able to find much about crickets and snakes so any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.

There are a few examples of insectivorous snakes (rough greens come to mind immediately) but corns are not one of them. Save the crickets for the beardies and other lizards, and feed your corn the only meal they need- mice or rats.

Welcome to the site!!!!!!!! There is a lot of information here. Be sure to read the FAQ section in the forums. They answer a lot of questions. There is a search feature that answer many questions also.
There are a lot of great people here. Everybody is always willing to help.

Good luck getting the corn to eat it... I got some bad advice from the petstore once and one of the salespeople told me to buy crickets for my garter snake. Now garters actually MIGHT eat crickets.. once in a blue moon... So you guessed it... my whole bag of crickets died.. uneatten.

I doubt corns will even notice the cricket, let alone consider it as food.
