Feeding Help for red tailed green rat snakes

I recently aquired a pair and want to prepare myself for any problems I may have with these little snakes. I have had them for one week and they both refused f/t and live fuzzys... they also refused chick scented after they refused on a second attempt the next day. They are alert and skittish their temps are both 84 with humidity at 82 percent..The table I bought him from said they were captive bred, and that they were feeding on both f/t and live.......I purchased them at the white plains show, and I have found out that the seller also sells w/c animals...If I had known that I would have passed on these gems, now I just want to keep them alive. I have dropped the humidity a bit, and their basking spot is 84 at the highest spot and gradually gets lower to the bottom lower branches, I have them in small plastic totes with high vertical walls, lots of branches a water dish and a ground hide, the substrate is orchid bark, i spray briefly daily with distilled or bottled water.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would leave a prekilled or f/t mouse in front of their hide overnight. Mine is evtremely shy and would only take mice this way for months, hope this helps :3

Make sure you aren't trying to often. Trying daily will only stress them out and make them less likely to eat. Wait at least 5-7 days between attempts. Also, don't forget to give them a week or so to settle in, no handling, no feeding, only get in the cages to change water and spot clean, so they can get acclimated to their surroundings and destress as much as possible.

Are they in the same cage? If so, separate them. Snakes are only further stressed out by the presence of other snakes, and stress is your enemy here.

Hope this helps a bit. I hope they start eating soon.

..

I have them in separate containers, away from my other snakes but it is a high traffic area, im going to move them to a room with less traffic, the boxes arent completley clear.
