i see alot of people asking about feeding requirements for their snake. lots of answers are given so here are my general rules:
1) your snake's food should be about 1 to 1.5 times the diameter of the snakes largest section. if your snake is 3/4" at its fattest diameter, food should be 3/4" to 1 1/4" in diameter. your snake will regurge the food item if too big.
2) if your feeding your snake 2 or 3 pinkies at a time move up to fuzzies. 2 to 3 fuzzies, go to a hopper.
3) if your snake isn't hungry he just won't eat all the food you present him. people worry about overfeeding their snake at a sitting. the only problem i've seen is feeding them too large a mouse and they regurge. if you throw 3 pinkies in your snake will eat what he/she wants, they don't try and eat everything in front of them like us humans.
any other general rules to add people?
