Hi!
I'm a new snake owner & I'm having some issues with feeding. I purchased Peanut last Saturday and was told that she was due to eat on Sunday. When I woke up that morning, I moved her to her feeding tank and dangled a frozen pinkie in front of her. She struck at it once but then did nothing with it. I tried to feed her once again the next night and she didn't even think about going towards it. I called the Petsmart I purchased her from and talked to the man who had assisted me. He said that Peanut had been eating regularly every 4 to 5 days and had only missed a feeding once. It was suggested to me that I try to feed her a live pinkie. So later that day I went to a local pet store and did so. I have left her in the feeding dish for 2 days straight with the live pinkie and have had no response. I know its still early and could be stress related, but I am starting to get worried about her. Any ideas?
