Feeding just 1 corn?

Jicin

Corn love
My red corn has just gone into blue phase. She's ugly right now. I've seen butts more beautifull :D

Anyway, so i won't feed her. But i would like to feed the other one. She's smaller and has fed less then my other so i want to beef her up as quickly as possible. But i'm afraid she's going to smell like mouse and the other one is going to be botherd by it. Is it considered a risk to feed one but not the other?

I frequently do that when one of mine is in shedding. Of course you will haveto feed her outside the viv. I never had problems in that way.

Thats a good point Jicin. If I was you, I would offer both snakes mice and even if the snake in shed didn't eat but the other one did, I wouldn't worrie about it.

We've always fed our snakes while they're in shed and they've never refused a meal, even while in the blue eyed phase.

yep same here, mine never refuse a meal when they are in blue phase either and then had trouble shedding. silly things. :).
i have 2 girlies together, if ones due to shed i still feed the other in the same viv, but just keeping the other one over the other side. mind you i have a huge viv, so she doesnt notice the other one eating.
the choice is yours really
good luck

Alright. In that case i'll give it a try. Thanks :)

I noticed one thing though. Even though she doesn't have a bulge at all anymore, theres a 'black spot' kinnda in the middle of her belly. Since i fed i noticed only some minor, tiny poops in the viv. I don't know from wich one.
I only see the dark spot in her belly when i hold her against the light. Is there simply still a little bit of mouse left to digest or might she have an obstruction? I'm considering giving her a bath tomorrow. Even if only giving a hand with shedding. I just gave her a little 'accidental' plunge into the water bowl wich i just cleaned out. She didn't like that much :D Well, neither would i.
