I just got a juvenile ghost corn snake at petsmart.. the lady said she tried to feed him the day i got him but he didnt eat. she said he might be going into shed but i dont see any signs of shed. hes supposed to eat once evry 4 days. shouuld i feed him now or wait another 4 days? oh and hes about a foot long and i believe its a female because her tail is very pointy and is narrow to a tip.. males are supposed to be thick because of the hemipenes rite? plz help me and thx.. any answers are welcome

Wait at least five days, preferably seven, after getting her before attempting to feed her. Do not handle at all until she has fed for you. She needs to be stress-free and relaxed to feed. If she _is_ going blue, check her on the day you want to feed before thawing out the pink to see if she is blue. If so- you can try to feed, but if she refused at the pet store while blue, chances are she isn't going to eat for you, either. Some do- some don't.

well the employee said she might but i didnt see it.. the snake was nice and bright and shiny and looked purfectly healthy.. il try what u said though so thx
