Feeding scedual and what to feed

I have recently come into the world of snakes and boy is it great! But my concern for my two babies are mostly there feedings and such. To start of my little one Jammie is about 2-4 months old and is fed 1 pinky every 6th day (twice a week in otherwords) she was due to be fed tomorow but due to bringing home my new baby who needed to be fed that day and her being so hungry ( i think they lied about giving her a pinky before we got her there was no lump at all...but so anyways she took her F/T great and was back in her viv in under 10 mins but im worried pinks arnt enough for her she barly gets a buldge at all and still look quite hungry...so should she maybe be uped to a fuzzy once a week or keep going with 2 pinks a week? And then for my girl I just brought home today she was being fed 2 large mice a feeding (shes 3 and probably 2 1/2-3 feet long) but at her last feeding before we bought her she was put to one small rat a feeding (once a week) so we brough home 2 small feeding rats and I thawed one out for her feeding today. She seamed to be bursting at the seams! it didnt take her horribly long to eat maybe 10-20 mins I wasnt really counting ( was facinated by watching... I usaly find things like that repulsive but it was just facinating to watch and a little sad) but she looked so full and she had trubles geting the hips down. Should i just keep her on the small rats or switch back to the large mice? Im sorry I can's give you there weights my gram scale is broken and I sorta spent all my monet buying her set up and her  but anyways anything you can say to guid me would be great!

Hi! Adult corns generally don't need anything bigger than lg mice. My adults (3yrs+) get 1 lg mouse every 10 -14 days, its really easy to over feed corns! If your baby hasn't got a bulge with one pink move up to 2 slightly smaller ones and see how she goes. The bulge should be visible for around 48hrs.
Good luck

and still look quite hungry
Don't be fooled by behaviour which looks like they're hunting for more to eat. Sometimes eating triggers this - it's just an instinct and doesn't mean they actually need more or are hungry.

For hatchlings, one pinkie roughly every 5 days is a pretty standard feeding schedule. As a general guide, the food needs to be about one and a half times the width of the snake's body (not the head or neck) and leave a lump in the belly for 24-48 hours after eating. Once the food doesn't leave a visible lump like this, then you might want to try bumping up to the next size of food, or with pinkies you can feed two at a time for a while, as Marie suggested.

As food size increases, you need to feed less often to make sure that their digestion has time to work and they don't get fat. It's surprisingly easy to overfeed a Corn, as most will eat anything put in front of them, whether that's sensible or not.

By the time the Corn reaches adult mice, that's the largest food they'll need for the rest of their lives. It's normal to then feed one large adult mouse every 10-21 days. Most of mine are on one a fortnight, but a couple need one every three weeks or they start piling on the pounds.

You can tweak a feeding schedule at any time - none of the guidelines are set in stone as different Corns will grow at different rates.

Thank you both of you thats what I needed to hear! and bitsy what the mutation of the snake in your profile pic he or she looks just like my new girl
