Feeding?

I just got my corn a few weeks ago, at a relatively small size. I'm not sure exactly how old but shes about 15ish inches long and a little thicker than a pencil in the middle. I have fed her one pinkie once a week since thats what the petstore I bought her from was doing. I have been reading that you should feed every 4-5 days though. What do you think?

well, i have some that are pencil size, and i feed them every 5 days, i will eventully do it every 6, then 7, whilst increasing food size

I hate to say it, and I'm not trying to "flame" or be rude or anything else unsavory, and this has nothing to do with you being newer to the forum...but...

There are a zillion threads around here that can answer your question if you search for them. I don't see how your case is unique enough to warrant a dedicated thread so that people can give you the same answer that they gave 10 other people over the last several months...sorry.

I totally understand that but I do read through the forum a lot and I haven't seen a thread that sifficiently answers my question. Im sure there are many threads out there but im lazy and I'm not willing to go through hundreds of threads to find the answers I need.

 At least your honest...but honesty won't get you anything in this situation.

If you're too lazy to be bothered to look for your own answers you are going to be hard pressed to find many of the more experienced members of this forum who are willing to spend their time helping you.

That is what the search function does. You see, you put in something called a "search term", which allows you to narrow your search down to just the threads that are the most related to your situation. I could have found answers to your question in literally less than 2 minutes using the search function. It doesn't require hours of sifting through hundreds of threads.

One thing to add about searching: If your using search terms that are as ambiguous as your thread title, then I can understand why you have hundreds of threads to sort through, that aren't even close to answering the questiong you have.

Let's forget the search function for a minute. When I typed my original response and as I type this very response there is a thread directly below it that more than sufficiently should answer your question.

Specter Blue in the other thread I mentioned said:
the snake is...about as big around as a number 2 pencil.
exodus5139 in this thread said:
maybe more like the same thickness as a pencil around the middle.

Ladies and gentlemen two posts don't get much more similar than that. What's worse was that thread was started just 6 hours before you started this thread! So your case isn't all that unique, and it didn't even require me to use the search function.

Notice that I was too lazy to be bothered to quote the rest of the info from that thread that have would answered your question.;)

This should now be cleared up.

:sobstory: Wow, ive gotta be blind. I didn't even notice the search option at the top. I did look for a search bar but i didnt see it. Good to know, I'm sure I can find an older thread with this.
