Here are some pics of my female Okeetee from SMR. She is about 35 grams now.

Great looking snake... I envy you.
If I were to get another snake I would like you get one just like that .

Do you happen to have any picture of it when you first got it. To show any color change. To help me look for a hatchling.?? :shrugs:

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the nice comments! Sorry, have no pictures Lennycorn.
I lost the pics when we changed over to a new PC. She has been changing colors very nicely so far. They seem to start at the head and neck and progress down the body.

Hope you don't mind if I post them here, but I have a pic of my male '05 SMR Abbott's from early October, and from a few days ago, if Lennycorn wants to see the color change so far.

I don't mind at all. Very nice looking 05, how much does he weigh?
I'll have to post the pics of my male and 2nd female.

Thanks. I last weighed him on 2/19, and he was 67g. He started on hoppers last feeding, and just ate his second one five minutes ago. He takes meal time very seriously. He was on fuzzies every six days, but he's growing well enough that I'm spacing the hoppers out to a seven-day schedule. :)

Thanks again R&G1.
And Thanks Roy for the pictures.

It seems like it hard to tell exactly what color they will be when they mature.
I just really like the colors in R&G1 first picture. I like how it more "tan" than orange color.
Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s just mainly the thickness of the black borders around the saddle that separate Abbots Okeetees from Okeetees, Mainly right?

There is no real separation between Abbott's and other Okeetees. They are know to have more black pigment on their heads, but this isn't consistent. They are a high quality line, usually with great border thickness, but many other Okeetees have this as well. Usually a nice Okeetee hatchling will have very dark saddle color, only barely discernible from the border black. Abbott's may have some white "stippling" on the dorsal surface. This seems to be lacking in Kathy Love's Okeetees.

I prefer a bright orange ground color. But if I were looking for one with more of a tan background, I would select an Abbott's hatchling who's orange ground color "dots" were less prominent. The brighter the dots, and the further they extend down the body of the snake, the more orange I would expect in the mature snake's ground color.

Hope this helps.
