My 14 year old, 700 gram adult male corn finally, FINALLY ate after nearly 3 months. I'm so relieved but also a bit nervous about a regurge.

He shed twice during his hunger strike because he banged up his head trying to escape in the search for love.

Sleenkie was eating small-medium rats (before I learned that rats weren't that great) and this was a hopper mouse so it took all of about 3 minutes for him to swallow it. Now he's looking for more. I'll wait until the hopper is thoroughly digested before offering him another. I bought a package of 3 hoppers that I'll feed him before switching him back to adult mice.

Thanks for the confidence boost! He should be fine then. Temps are the same has they always been and he will be all alone all weekend to digest in peace.
