The bottom tank will be housing to crested Geckos In Aug.

Sorry for the dirty glass. My kids like to put the hands all over it.

I like the idea of using glass on both sides. It works as a room divider. Original.
I have a few questions if you don't mind. I'm planning on make my own Viv too. First, it looks like your using sliding glass doors, if so are the door glides 3/4" thick. To "sit" on a piece on 3/4" edge of wood?
Second, I not sure how I'm going to heat my wooden Viv,v what are you using and how?.

Thanks for your picture and any replies

I am using a heat mat you could use heat tape they just don't sell it here. I am using a temperature adjuster on it cause with out it the temp gets to high. I then got a ceramic tile for 95 cents and placed it over the heat mat. Drilled a hole in the bottom for the wires. The hole was then covered up by the tile. I siliconed around the tile to make sure there was not rough edges.
I went to a glass recycle place and got my 3mm tempered glass. I paid 5 bucks a panel. It is sitting on 3/4" lat. The door glides are 5/8". It would depend on how thick your glass is.
You can get the plastic sliding glass holder at Rona or home depot. They were 12 bucks for 12 feet. I also mounted lights inside on the tops just to lighten them up.
