If you posted a poll on how many of us said that :grin01: any pics of your new baby? What name have you decided on?

na, the wife is pretty adimint on one snake only, and now that i got it, im not going to push the issue any more.

I hope you're as restrictive about her purchases as she is about yours.

well, she is deathly afraid of snakes, that the only thing she said i couldnt have, and now she let me have one so.

Tell her you're deathly afraid of shoes, or something she likes. :grin01:

Hey, you never know... over time she might become used to the snake and realize there's not anything to fear. Just hope that you haven't gotten one of the more feisty ones. ;) Don't push the fear issue and let her get used to it slowly. My mother was afraid of snakes at one time... now she asks how the snake grandbabies are doing. Anything is possible!

Unlike many women who love to buy shoes. I'm a tomboy, and would much rather like Playing in dirt, and having "disgusting" animals as pets. My dad was dissappointed with me when I was younger when I wanted hot wheels instead of the latest Barbie. lol :grin01:

I always picked up rocks myself. (And the occasional garter snake.)

BTW, Congrats on your new snake! I'm sure your wife will see how easy they are to have as a pet; and being that they're in their hide most of the day, she won't see him constantly either.

You can always weasel in another snake. My situation is opposite, its the HUSBAND telling ME that I was limited to the 1 snake that I had gotten for my birthday last August.
Then in Feb I weaseled my way into getting a 2nd when I upgraded the first snakes tank and had the available smaller tank so I got my 2nd corn.

This October we plan to visit the Midwest Reptile expo and of COURSE I'll end up with another 1 or 2 by going...

MUHAHAHAHAH... limited my butt :grin01:

Congratulations on your new baby! I said I was only going to get one snake, too. Now I have seven.

Bingo. My ability to compromise is compromised. ;)
:grin01: But it's more fun to compromise the ability to compromise, I too once had an ogre saying 'no more animals'

You never know...you might be able to get another eventually. My grandma is afraid of snakes and she actually touched my little anery because I said, "You won't want to touch her when she's big." That only convinced her because she said she would touch ever eventuall. Congrats on the corn!!! Post some pics for us!! :D
