Finally has sheded

Good news!
The fact that it was complete shows you your humidity is not too low.
Enjoy your nice shiny new snake!

no, that sounds about right. up to about 2 years old, you should be feeding every 5 to 7 days. If he is eating 2 pinks, you might want to look at moving up to fuzzies. When you do this, you will notice an almost instant growth spurt as the fuzzies are more nutritious.

how are you supposed to keep a certain amount of humitity anyway???

This is accomplished by creating an area of moisture. easily done with a small butter bowl. Take the butter bowl, and cut a hole in the side. place wet paper towls in side, and put lid on. Because of the temps in your viv, this will create humidity.

if you don't want to use the bowl, then you will need to get some kind of substrate that will help hold moisture. I use Aspen Mulch...Buy it from a Nursery here in Town...And using this, I can attain about 60% humidity and hold it for about a month with out misting. However, I live in a pretty humid place. If you are in an area that isn't naturally humid, then you might need to mist more often. I do know that there is some viv equipement that you can buy that sits inside the viv, and plugs into the electricty. You fill it iwith water, and program how often you want the viv misted, and it does this for you.

 Grats on the good shed. :) I was nervous the first time mine had shed.

When it came to my second snake my Amel it was very hard to tell he was in shed. When he did shed, I found out by finding the skin the next day.
