With moving and whatnot I've had my camera misplaced several times and FINALLY today I uploaded some pictures that I took right before leaving San Jose. Outside of our condo was a perfect tree for climbing - it was interesting enough to be fun and small enough that I could get him out of it, plus it was enough out of the way that neighbors didn't walk by often.

Wonderful, Cathy. You know, this is one of the few north american snakes I have never looked at up close.

He looks great! Do indigos climb trees in the wild?

Occasionally. I can't find it right now, but I used to have a picture saved of one 20 or so feet into a tree heading toward a birdhouse! Mostly I just try anything I can think of to keep him active since I know they are pretty active in the wild.

Great photos!!
I love Indigos!
.......I think someday I will have to add a few to my collection....
