I *THINK* I see a golddust motley in the center next to an ultramel. The green-ish irises with the ruby pupil are what's making me lean that way.

Thanks Robbie.
Edited in the 4th pic with numbers.
Will try to get some better pics later.
Just sort of a spur of the moment thing.

Dave,
from what I see in the pic. with numbers, number 5 is Golddust.

Maybe you could do individual pics. of ones in question, which would be easier to determine??

Thanks Walter & Robbie.
Number 5 in the first set of pictures is the same as 11 in this picture
one or two don't have numbers -their heads were buried.

Golddust is #5

They will be very dark, almost brown when they hatch out. Here is a pic of a clutch of golddust and butter motleys and then a lone golddust from many years ago, Brad Lichtenhan

In the last pic I would say 2, 3 and 11.
I wouldn't say that they will necessarily be really dark, I hatched a very light one this season that I know 100% certain is a golddust

One more old pic after first shed

This is a clutch of all golddust mots. Some have shed, and they did lighten up a lot after first shed. I also seem to remember that how dark or light they were had to do with whether they were male or female, but I cannot remember which was which. Brad Lichtenhan

There are at least 3 golddusts in that clutch. In the first numbered image, #5 and #3, with #2 looking like one as well but since the color hue varies in the 3 photos, I'm only 99% sure about #2.

In the second numbered photo, #2 and #3, with #11 at 99% sure. Therefore, considering all the photos, I would say there are 3 golddusts.

The eye is the key. If it's anything but pink/red, it's ultramel. And you have to determine if the color says homo caramel or not. Final decisions after shedding is the way to go here. And yes, the color of golddusts can vary quite a bit. Some can be quite dark and brown and others paler with varying degrees of yellowness.

I agree, #'s 2 - 3 & 11 are Golddusts.
