Again - thank you to so many on here for your thoughts and advice. Here's a little background on the "Boy meets snake" story:

So tonight FireBlaze was roaming about, and I decided to see if I could snap a few quick shots to get a closer look. Anyhow, here's the beginning of FireBlazes biography.

Born mid-April 2011

Arrived 6/18/11
Length: approximately 14"

He's gotten much more active the last couple of days. Can't wait to feed and weigh him in a couple of days.

Well, it's been a while, and I suppose that I owe some updated pictures. Fireblaze is doing great, he's about 35 grams now, eats like a champ and is calm when being handled. It's our routine now to have playdates on the weekends and make an event of the feeding. The kids love to watch it! Anyhow, here's a pic from this morning, Nate holding the shed we found today. The feeding shot was his last one a few days ago....he's up to two small fuzzies now about once a week.
