firemotley ?:D

First of all a better shot from above to show the pattern would give a bit better idea but with it being fire the only way to know for sure is test breeding.

Need to be able to see more of the neck but it doesn't look like a motley much from that picture.

try taking a picture from directly above the animal. also, what were the parents?

the 1st quart of the animal looks very motley after that it seems to be more cubed , what doesn't mean this is less interesting .
I think that testbreeding is not needed , this looks like a glowing beautiful amelbloodred aka FIRE :devil01:

I ment tht test breeding may be required to prove that it is motley because it is fire. Since the general way to know if it is a motley is to look at its belly to see if it is plain but being fire you can't do that since fires have the plain belly as well.

I agree .The "problem" with bloods , fires , granites and other bloodredcombo's in combination with stripe and/or motley is that you don't know if the white belly is from the bloodredgene or from the motley/stripe gene . Unless you have a clear pattern on M/Str , it is sometimes confusing.
But that keeps us on going the "cornpath" for many many years .
Some are walking "the good way "( like Robin T) , some are walking just around and some are just lost in the jungle of morphs of colors and patterns hoping to find a guide to the right goal .

That's definately a fire motley! Good job!
It's even more diffused than my '08 is!

And this one is from the same line (same parents even?) as yours, it's a '07.
