First aid kit?

Well... snakes don't often get hurt a lot. But some things that have come in useful for us have been:

1) mineral oil (for unsticking tape from snake scales-- had to run out in the middle of the night for this one)

2) neosporin w/o pain reliever, for minor wounds

3) q-tips, for applying neosporin or cleaning wounds

4) digital gram scale, for keeping track of weight-- weight dropping is often the first sign of illness, so knowing your snakes weight is important!

I have all of that except the neosporin without pain relief.

Shepard: I weigh my girl once a week. She generally finds it annoying, but since I'm trying to get her to lose weight I like keeping track of where she's at.
