First day here. What's my morph?

This is Ozzy I bought him a couple of weeks ago at a pet store. Not sure if he's a girl or a boy cause I didn't want him probed. I think he's a motley cause his belly is all white. The pet store told me he is an anery. :grin01:

Hey there and Welcome!

Cute little sneaky one! Sorry I can't help with what morph he or she is as I don't even know my butters from my blizzards but many here do!

Hope you and Ozzy stick around! (Feels strange saying that to someone else as I also have a young snake with the same moniker, who you can see in the album on the public profile section, if you have the time to kill).

Your new noodle is an Anery Type A. From what I can see of his top side near his head, he also looks to be Motley. My ET is a Motley Anery A. They are beautiful. Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

Thanks! He only has the one spot. But I think so too. He looks so small in my boyfriends hand. There sure is a lot of stuff to look at on this site! I have him in a 70 gal tank which I was worried might be too big but he's eating well and spends most time in one of the 2 hides in there.

Just from the amount of yellow, I'd say it's a HIM, but that's just my opinion. Definite Motley as well. Ozzy has a superb home. He'll never outgrow it. Make sure you have tons of clips to keep your srceen top secure. The tiniest gap is enough to squinch through, and they have more pushing strength than you'd believe possible!

Yes! I will need clips. My family had a boa when I was little. Had to put weights on the top so it wouldn't get out. One of the reasons why I went with a corn snake they mostly stay a manageable size.

My biggest is Gypsy, adult female, unknown age...probably around 6 yrs old. She's about 4.5 feet and weighs 962 grams (around 2 pounds). She's very manageable. Hangs out on my desk and "helps" me grade papers.

Having a big home is actually great - not a problem. However, the young ones can get stressed with a lot of open space so make sure there are a lot of hides everywhere and the suction on plants are great to have some more cover. As long as there are cozy hides and covers, 70 gallons is no problem at all.

Welcome! Very cute little guy.

Welcome. Ozzy is adorable. Feel free to hang out here and if you want you can start a progression thread over the corn snake gallery section. Congrats on such a sweet little snake!
