first egg layed

I smell a rat
So, I was right and the very young Bella was indeed gravid. This morning I was going through and cleaning all the bins, and found an egg in her water dish. I hope she is done, and that I didn't disturb her too much if she isn't. Pretty sure this one is a slug, but I am very excited that more are on the way soon.

Congrats on the first clutch!

I am sure she isn't done with just one egg. I would leave her alone but still keep an eye on her. If she doesn't lay any more in the next day or so make sure she isn't getting egg bound. Also the egg is probably a slug and was i the water dish but I would still put it in the incubator just in case!

Thanks Dave. I am pretty excited. I have covered her bin with a towel to give her a little more privacy (mostly from the kids lol). Two more are cruising their bins and in and out of their boxes. One of them is Fiona, who is huge. I am expecting quite a few from her. Yeah!!! Eggs!!!

She has laid two more this morning, and I am going to try and incubate these ones. Not sure if she is done laying yet, but I don't want to disturb her to check. I am worried about her she is so little...
