FireBlaze got his first meal at home last night. He weighs about 9 grams, and we fed him a 2.5 gram pinkie...the smallest in the set of four we had. It seems like the pinkie went down pretty easily...less than four minutes from strike to fully engulfed. We plan to follow the Munson Plan, but somewhat conservatively, at least in the beginning. My question is this....when we put him back into his viv, after about 20 minutes of solitude after feeding, he went into his vines, and that's where he's stayed since then. I figured he would seek out a heat source or at least go back into his hide that's been his typical hangout, but nope. Normal behavior? I guess he knows best. Maybe he's just not looking to move after a nice meal....
