So I fed Chipotle for the first time today! I got him last Sunday and I was going to wait till this Tuesday to feed him as I traumatized him a bit last Tuesday. Unfortunately something came up with work and I'm going to be away from home from Mon-Thurs, so I fed him today in order to keep an eye on him tomorrow. I prepared the mouse, put Chipotle in a container, and dangled it near him. He flicked his tongue out a few times and *slowly* opened his mouth and gently took it. He took about 5-7min to swallow all of it. I put him back in his tank once he started moving around. Here are some photos, are these mice too big? He's been eating them at the shelter once a week before I adopted him. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1394355681.373008.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1394355700.041052.jpg

He's now snuggled into his warm hide. Sorry the photos are crap I didn't want to open the container while he was eating and frighten him.

Looks great! Congrats, mom! I had fed all my kids last night after weighing them and Bootsie, my 800g behemoth didn't take it right away. He is my first Normal and I didn't get the clouding or dullness with him, so I didn't know he was in blue, and was shocked when he had shed overnight nor eaten!

I took a small fuzzie left over from another corn that didn't want it and dangled it in front of Boots, I thought he would take my hand off with that strike! So I picked up the rat and "did a little dance, made a little love" with the snake and he struck and coiled it so fast.
