WOW, Allison! Cortez is a beautiful, big boy!
My "first love" was a wild caught normal. I sold him and the rest of my collection because of what I thought was love.
At least you have 5 to make up for it now. :crazy02:
My first love was actually first loves. While I was in high school I had and environmental class and we always took in rescued reptiles till we could find homes for them. I was in charge of the rescuing. A girl gave us two corn snake one day, an Amel and a Snow. At that point I wasn't interested in owning a snake because I wasn't able to kill a mouse, so I found a home for them. That person brought them back and I felt bad for them never having a stable home and eventually feel in love with them and brought them home.
Here is a picture of Peaches and Cream.
Awesome! I just saw you in the Welcome Forum. Your first love is fantastic as well! Our first love is also a Snow Corn!! We just got her, so she is also our only snake.
We originially named her Takara but decided we didn't like the name so much. Sooo, we changed her name to Aiko, which means "beloved one" or "little love" in Japanese
Your first love is very gorgeous!
Cortez is beautiful! You got him at the same age I got my first love... Granted, he's not a corn, but he's a reptile nonetheless! My first corny love... Santi, a wacky little amel. I've only had him for about three months (dang, seems like a lot longer than that...), but I've been waiting for the past eight years. And it's all his fault that I'm now addicted to corns. Haha. Again, Cortez is beautiful, as are Peaches and Cream, and Holden.
