I noticed about 5 days ago my snake was in the blue phase for the first time since iv had her.

Ever since i have been misting the cage regularly, i also tried installing a moist box, but she just refused to enter it, i withdrew the box from the cage.

I found keeping the humidity levels up was a real problem due to the fact that the tank i keep her in has far too many holes in the lid, placing paper over the lid helped a little.

After 3 days post blue and not a shred of shed skin in sight i soaked her for about 20 mins in warm water.. I must have checked her cage 10 times today to see if she had shed, i was so worried (for some reason). Finally 5 minutes ago i found a nice shiny, clean snake and a shed skin.....so cool.




Wooooooooo, so happy!!

Finally now i can sleep in peace....glad i have tomoz off work (gotta love bank holidays).
