okay i ve had my corn since august and he's a juvenile and i never had a feeding problem with him. okay so this is the deal i fed him an adult size mouse which is kinda big but he has taken a few of them down before with out problems and was eating them weekly.so the last time i fed him was about 2 weeks ago before i left school for spring break. he was on his own for a week and i didnt have t he light on but my house is pretty warm. so when i came back itried feedin him but he didnt eat. then a few days later (tonight) i tried feeding him again and he would bite it start eating it then let go, he did this twice.... now i think it might be because the mouse was a little cold. what i do is i feed the f/t and when i take them out of the freezer i warm them up in hot water and i did it with this one but it took awhile and it was wet so i think it got cold... do you think that could be the problem,, or maybe is it to big and hes gettin sick of eating them that big?? any help would be appreciated...

I'm not sure...
If your husbandry is all good, maybe your right and the mouse was too cold and the snake struck it more of a defensive move than anything. But what's the girth of the snake. Is the mouse you're offering 1 1/2 times the snake.
May try waiting to the next feeding day and try braining the f/t mouse and/or slicing the back to help scent it, to trigger a responce from the snake.

Good Luck.

yeah its about 1.5 times bigger hes taking the same size down a few times before. and like he didnt only strike it he had the whole head in then stopped. and my husbandry hasnt changed so im thinking it was a lil cold. im keepin it out over night to get room temp, and try tomorrow. ill let you know how it goes and thanks for the in put
