`for pet only` adult corns need cooling??

I have kept only young corn snakes till now. However, I`m planning to buy f adult corn snakes but I have a newbie question now.
I know, before breed corn snakes, they need cooling or brumation but what if I don`t breed adult corn snakes? I just want to care them as pets not as breeders. Do they still need cooling or brumation???

No, they don't require cooling/brumation to live a happy and healthy life. In fact, breeders don't need to be brumated either, it just helps getting an entire collection sort of "in sync" for breeding season as well as giving their owner a bit of a break.

I agree with Susan, but wanted to add that sometimes snakes go off feed in the winter months, or they eat significantly less. I've mostly seen this with males, but it can happen with females as well.
