So a month ago we had an escapee. Our 8 month old Anery I got my Boyfriend for Christmas this past year. I had searched the apartment, taken everything out of dressers, looked in every shoe (which was a lot of shoes) and found nothing till I noticed a hole in our wall where the cable guy had removed the cover to install the cable DESPAIR! I figured that she might have gotten into the walls and was a gonner! Idk if that's what happen but here is the story.
Leaving our apartment (second floor) this morning, my Boyfriend heads down the stairs while I lock the door. I hear "OH MY GOD" and then I see what he's after. She was at the bottom of the stairs OUTSIDE our apartment. I have no idea how she got there and it is a MIRACLE as far as I'm concerned that we found her. I thought she would be dead when he picked her up but she ferociously struck at him, musked him and pooped on him all at once LOL.
She is warming up and of course I gave her water ASAP. I am considering when I should feed her, sooner is probably better than latter? I'm not going to handle her till she gets used to being in her viv again and has been fed.
Thanks for reading. If you loose one in the future remember this story. Snakes are survivors. I don't know how her journey led her to the bottom of our steps, but thank goodness we found her. I hope see will be just fine
