I'm so so happy I found my lost corn snake Roger!!! I was 10 when I lost him tipically left the viv door open. I cried and cried wanting him back so badly. Many months passed and I replaced him for a new snake I named him Razor. Then in summer this year I was skating in the awesome hot weather when suddenly I found him outside on the porch!!! With no hesitation I bailed of my skateboard and grasped him with both hands. I put him in the viv and razor in the starter cage. Roger was in bad shape indeed his skin was handing off and he just didn't move so I did the best I could for him. I tried feeding him, I supplied moss in there for him put he didn't seem to like it I also bathed him and that didn't get all the skin off when I bathed him I could see his backbone. I was scared my mum wanted me to put him down but I couldn't give up on him it was the only way to try and make it up to him for not looking after him right. So I just kept a bed of moss in there a big container full of water and a cat litter box half filled with water so he could bathe. A week later a miricle happened he shed!! I tried giving him a mice and it worked without any problems. He has now made a full recovery he moves more he eats well and always wants to be handled this made me the happiest 13 year old boy in the world and the good thing is now ... I HAVE 2!!!!

Congrats on finding your long lost snake!

Be sure to quarentine Roger, & treat him as a new snake, because he's been out & about for so long, he could have picked up something, that may affect your other snake.

I'm so happy for you. Congrats on finding him. I've left the viv door open once or twice, but luckily when I noticed it, my girl was still in there!
