Penelope shed today, so I thought I would see if she was feeling romantic. Fred was ready to go, and Penelope seemed slightly more receptive, but today was not the day.

"Can I help you?"

Fred is John Finsterwald's rosyblood (that I dearly love!!) who is here on breeding loan. We've planned to pair him with my lavblood, Lily, to create bloods het lavender kastanie. John also wanted to try for bloods het hypo lavender kastanie, and so he sent Penelope along, too.

The threesome has been out of brumation for about a month- hopefully the girls will get in the mood soon! Fred and Penelope looked so pretty together I just had to take some pictures anyway.

At least they were happy to stay in proximity to each other! That's always more hopeful than when they climb the walls to try to leave the scene.
