freezer burn???

what happens if a pinkie gets freezer burn? can u still thaw it out and serve it? will it just taste bad for the snake or is it actually bad to serve the snake?

I put a rat pinkie in the freezer but didnt seal the zip lock and it is like a whitish color. i am guessing that is freezer burn...can i feed it to him? I am not able to get my hands on rat pinkies, so this is the first one i got and i think i ruined it. damn it.
 
I've had freezer burned mouse pinkies before, and they fell apart when I thawed them, they stank and I didn't want to make my snake sick, so I threw them out. That's my experience.
