I'll preface this post by first stating that each corn is different.
With that said, most will normally shed every 3-6 weeks for the first 2-3 years. The exact timing will be influenced by genetics and food intake. I can tell you that my personal observations indicate that about 25-37 days is standard.
Realize that the colors will get increasingly brighter with every shed, but don't expect a "caterpillar to butterfly" type of metamorphosis overnight.
