Wow! Awesome looking...Are you going to get pics up on your website for the other ones in that clutch?

Those ultramels are just gorgeous Hurley. Even the amels from that clutch are really nice. Mary and Taeoo did a great job!

How are Gwen & Gonzo's clutch doing? I saw a few anerys out and a snow.

Looks like 2 snow mots, 2 normal mots, and a slew of anery mots so far. GREAT patterns on them. One anery looks very hurricane, which is awesome. Can't wait for shed on those.

BTW, you hypo lav clutch should be shedding in the next couple days. Results on that one are:

4.4 Hypo Lavs, 3.4 Hypos het lav The males are all phenomenally lighter than the females (just like last year).

Pics soon.

Can't wait to see them Hurley. :crazy02: I hope one of those snow mots is a female. lol I wonder if the anery mots are going to have that pinkish look to them as well? That would be awesome.

Just Gorgeous!

Isn't odd, how so many baby corns, are so pretty and bright compared to what they grow up into? I've seen a lot of baby normal corns that would look gorgeous if they just stayed that darker blotch on light background color, but no, the blotches usually lighten, and the background darkens. Ah well! The only exception would be my Candy Canes from Kathy. Which by the way are breeding quite well this year, so am HOPING that this year will be the year the females give me some eggs for a change!

I think corns are one of the few snakes that get more attractive as they get older. I mean have you ever seen a hatchling Okeetee? It looks dark and drab. That same snake in a year or two is a beautiful orange and black. Have you ever bred Hondurans or Pueblans? They come out of the egg as crisp clean shiny beautiful hatchlings in a year most of them(except hypos)are dark blobs. I guess what I'm saying is, I disagree with you on this one. IMO, baby corns look crappy(for lack of a better word) compared to how they look as adults. At one time I considered holding back all the corns I produced until they were a year old. Just so I can really show people what they look like. I have to bring adults to the shows just so folks can see what they will look like. Good luck on those eggs by the way. Thanks

I live on both sides of that fence. ;)

Anerys, snows, granites, miamis, and candycanes are awesome when they hatch out. That stark contrast is amazing, they look so clean, and I wish they'd stay that way.

But like Mike said, the corns that have orange or yellow hatch out looking drab. Only later do they color up into their full potential as they hit about 3 feet long. With some of them it's neat because you keep imagining how they're going to look even that much better... "after this next shed!" :)
