frozen mice??

when a corn snake is full grown would you just feed them frozen mice form the pet store? or would you change them to live mice?

It's best to keep snakes on f/t mice, as mice can be dangerous to a snake, regardless of size, when being fed in captivity. They could bite the snake, scratch an eye, or break the jaw of the snake.

With the plethora of questions that I have seen you post, I would strongly advise you to read some care sheets on corn snakes, as well as The Corn Snake Manual by Bill and Kathy Love. You can also search forums for past threads concerning your questions at the bottom within a forum. Look for "search this forum", and type in some keywords. Good luck.

Why would you want to switch from frozen to live??

One of the main reasons for feeding f/t is to prevent a live adult mouse from injuring the snake.

Clumsly,

Have you managed to get a copy of The Cornsnake Manual yet? It discusses most of the questions you have asked here recently. I highly recommend it for ya.

Have you read it cover to cover? I hope so, as I think it would help with a lot of the questions I have seen you post. I am just trying to help =)

i just got it today becuase all the stores my house did not have it. so i have only read about fourth of it so far.
