I'm in the market for a good camera, and was wondering how this stacks up for its price range 100-200$? I see on some reviews its fairly mixed thoughts. Does anyone have knowledge of how good these are?

Are there any alternative cameras that are good on a tight budget?

I actually have the Fuji FinePix S800 8.0 MP. It's a GREAT camera for the price, and I absolutely love it! Sometimes, it doesn't want to focus on what I want it to, but that's about the limit of my frustration with it at this point. My only other issue is that it's not an SLR. VERY frustrating when trying to get tongue shots. You have to anticipate when somethings going to happen, and snap before it happens. It does have a high-speed shutter option, but it's still not as fast as an SLR.
