ok, well unless i managed to overlook it at three in the morning (very possilbe) i can't seem to figure out when a snake is considered to be "fully mature". when are they called "adult"? at what age do they reach their full size? when do they achieve their adult color (or do they change their whole lives?)? when do they become sexually mature? (not that i'll ever need to know, but i would like to know!)

A corn is said to be an adult when it has reached reproductive size. This doesn't always correspond to age. The old "3-year, 3-feet, 300-gram" recommendation for breeding minimums is probably useful in a very general way. But I have 3-year-old corns that have not reached 300g, and I consider them to be adults. I have yearlings that exceed 3 feet and 300g that I do not consider to be adults. It's not a well defined thing.

Does that help? :grin01:
